The Team

Project Lead, Course Creator and Key Trainer

Cecille Weldon, Director, WeldonCo. Cecille’s expertise has been developed over 25 years in areas as diverse as strategic and creative management, marketing, systems development, event design and management, publishing and production. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Dip Ed) and a Graduate Diploma in Linguistics, specialising in Semantics (the study of meaning) and Sociolinguistics (the study of the relationship between language and social and cultural values). This informs much of her unique approach to strategy, engagement, content and training. She is also an experienced public speaker and training facilitator. Cecille is an innovative thinker with a proven track record in bringing together business strategy, innovation, communication and knowledge management to deliver new opportunities for business and the social sector.
Well regarded as the real estate industry expert on the impact of sustainability on the property marketing industry, Cecille was a member of the Executive Leadership Team of LJ Hooker Corporate from 2013–2015. She is creator of the Banksia Award-winning Liveability Real Estate Framework, which is seen by many as the future of real estate and is endorsed and supported by key organisations in the sustainable design, building/construction, development and assessment industries.

Research and Knowledge Management

Adele Pearson. With a successful career spanning over two decades in advertising, marketing, event management and intellectual property development, Adele is a highly skilled business consultant who has worked with a range of clients from start-ups to world-class brands such as Heineken, Greenpeace, Telstra Retail and LJ Hooker. Having facilitated teams and projects across a number of industries, Adele’s skill and knowledge allows her to work collaboratively with clients to provide strategic planning, research services, training process and procedure mapping, corporate document creation and project management. Practical and realistic, with a focus on analysis and logical reasoning, Adele is also an effective organisational change manager.

Course Development and Training Logistics

Melissa Neighbour specialises in developing and implementing innovative sustainable development projects and has worked in a diverse range of areas including town planning, real estate, climate change, renewables, communications and community engagement. She has a strong track record of engaging, advising and influencing stakeholders from the public and private sector on sustainable development practices.
Melissa has completed a Bachelor of Environmental Planning with Honours at Griffith University and in 2011 graduated from Australia’s leading post-graduate sustainability course, the Fellowship Program run by the Centre for Sustainability Leadership. Melissa also holds a Diploma of Project Management and is enrolled to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in April 2016.

Specialist Sustainable Design/Build Consultant

Dick Clarke, Principal of Envirotecture. Dick is an Accredited Building Designer with over 35 years experience. He focuses exclusively on ecologically sustainable and culturally appropriate buildings, as well as sustainable design in vehicles and vessels, and has received many design awards. He holds a Master of Sustainable Futures degree (by research at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, UTS), on the topic of the effect of state and local planning instruments on the sustainability of the built environment. Dick holds Building Designer Accreditation (No. 6029) under the Building Designer Accreditation (NSW) scheme. He is Director of Sustainability, and Past President of the NSW Chapter of Building Designers Australia (BDA). He is a Past President and Board Member of the Association of Building Sustainability Assessors (ABSA).

Education & Training Manager REINSW

Danielle Andrews has over 16 years experience in Human Resources and Training professions. She is responsible for the planning, content and operational systems which underpin the REINSW extensive training program. She has expertise in and a passion for the delivery of high quality training programs which serve industry and deliver great service experiences to consumers. During her time as inaugural chair of Auto Skills Australia she was instrumental in ensuring the newly formed organisation represented the industry’s needs and contractual obligations with the Federal Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations.
